Since the Israel-Hamas battle broke out on October 7, 2023, there have been 28,985 Palestinian deaths and 68,883 Palestinian injuries in the Gaza Strip, according to a dire report from the Hamas-run Health Ministry.

According to Xinhua news agency, the Israeli army murdered 127 people and injured 205 others in the last 24 hours.

Despite intensive shelling, casualties remain buried under rubble, aggravating the catastrophe owing to a lack of civil defense and paramedic workers. Direct strikes targeted Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Younis, causing considerable damage and trapping patients.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that Israeli tank assaults targeted the hospital’s fourth floor, causing a fire and trapping patients and medical personnel facing high-risk evacuations.

Israeli forces also reportedly fired on the hospital’s fuel tanks, complicating damage assessment owing to the continued danger.

The situation depicts the devastating results of Israel’s large-scale operation against Hamas, which was initiated by a Hamas rampage across the southern Israeli border on October 7, 2023, resulting in approximately 1,200 deaths and over 200 hostages.

The increasing battle has sparked global concern, with calls for urgent ceasefires and humanitarian assistance to alleviate the crisis in the Gaza Strip.
