Peacock’s Emmy-winning competition-reality sensation The Traitors returns for season three, launching on January 9. Once again, the impeccably stylish and razor-sharp Alan Cumming takes hosting duties as a brand-new cast of 21 celebrity contestants take part in a season that promises to be filled with high-stakes drama, devious deception, and cutthroat gameplay.
Familiar Faces Join the Deception Game
Season 3 features an interesting combination of reality stars, athletes, and entertainment icons, each with their distinctive skills, personality, and game. Reality TV fan favorites, including The Biggest Loser’s Bob Harper, RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Bob The Drag Queen, Big Brother legend Danielle Reyes, and a handful of darlings from Survivor: Carolyn Wiger, Jeremy Collins, Rob Mariano, and Tony Vlachos.
Rounding out the cast is a slew of Real Housewives royalty in Dolores Catania of New Jersey, Dorinda Medley of New York City, Chanel Ayan of Dubai, and Robyn Dixon of Potomac. That cast will be rounded out by other fan favorites, including Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause, Bachelor in Paradise bartender Wells Adams, The Bachelorette‘s Gabby Windey, Summer House beauty Ciara Miller, and Vanderpump Rules‘ notorious bad boy Tom Sandoval. Also joining the cast are actor/model Sam Asghari, British Royal Lord Ivar Mountbatten, and pro wrestler Nikki Garcia, bringing their odd assortment of talents and backgrounds to the Scottish Highlands.
Mystery and Intrigue in the Highlands
Set against the brooding and atmospheric backdrop of a remote Scottish castle, The Traitors whisks its contestants away into a world of calculated suspense, intense missions, and strategy that keeps them on the edge of their seats. Hosted by the enigmatic and ever-adorable Alan Cumming, contestants engage in challenging missions that can see the group win up to $250,000. Among the Faithful, however, are the Traitors, whose aim it is to secretly “murder” their fellow contestants and outlast the Faithful for the cash prize. In one surprising turn of events after another, the Faithful must use their gut, alliances, and intuition to determine who the Traitors are and vote them off before they find themselves getting taken out. But if any Traitors remain undetected by the end, they’ll walk away with the entire prize.
