Photo of drowned migrant man and his toddler daughter spark outrage

The Associated Press reported Tuesday that the photograph “highlights the perils” that thousands of Central Americans face as they travel through Mexico in hopes of reaching the U.S. border.

This is the Trump administration practicing “metering” asylum, which reportedly happened to the father and daughter who drowned, as a way to deter asylum seekers from legal passage.

We are human beings we have to start caring about each other. This is honestly one of the saddest photos of all time.
