New images of El Chapo’s (Joaquin Guzman) wife, Emma Coronel Aispuro, posing with an unidentified man is going viral on social media.
Emma Coronel Aispuro has been in prison since 2021 after she pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute class A drugs to be imported into the United States, as well as money laundering and violations of the Kingpin Act.
El Chapo’s wife was given a reduced sentence of three years in prison by the federal court, which agreed she was a ‘minimal participant’ in the running of the most well-known Mexican cartel and took into account her remorse for her actions.
The former Mexican beauty queen is expecting to be released from the Texas facility this September, according to Houston Chronicle.
