Ragnarok Season 3 Hits Netflix on August 24th

Netflix has officially announced that season three of the hit Norwegian series ‘Ragnarok’ will be released this summer. The coming-of-age series with a Norse mythology twist will premiere globally on Netflix on August 24, 2023.

Many fans expressed their excitement for the upcoming season on social media, especially since the previous season ended on a cliffhanger.

What to expect from ‘Ragnarok’ season 3?

The third season will most likely continue to follow Magne’s battle against the Jutuls, but Laurits’ lineage will also play a significant role in the future. Will he choose to support the gods or the giants? Perhaps no one? The answer could literally bring about the end of days (ICYMI, that’s Ragnarok), which has long been predicted in Norse legends.

As of now, there isn’t much information about what the third season might bring, and without a trailer, audiences are left to speculate about what might happen next, but we did get new images of the upcoming season.

Who’s in the cast of ‘Ragnarok’ season 3?

David Stakston, Jonas Strand Gravli, Theresa Frostad Eggesbø, Herman Tømmeraas, Danu Sunth, Henriette Steenstrup, Synnøve Macody Lund, Odd-Magnus Williamsson, Bjørn Sundqvist, Vebjørn Enger, Billie Barker, Benjamin Helstad, Ruben Rosbach, Ida Nilsen, Jesper Malm, Fridtjov Såheim, and Espen Sigurdsen will be in ‘Ragnarok’ season 3. Other cast members will be announced at a later date, according to Netflix.

Who are the people behind the lens?

Stine Meldgaard Madsen is a producer and Nina Quist is an associate producer. Executive producers are Meta Louise Foldager Srensen and Adam Price.
