Rep. Lauren Boebert said she will co-sponsor the Flock-Off Act with Thomas Massie, which would deny federal funding for automated license plate reader technology.
The discussion came up while speaking with Pablo Manriquez of MeidasTouch Network, who asked whether Boebert will sponsor another proposed bill about the Jeffrey Epstein files.
“Do you think that you’ll support the new Epstein Files Transparency Act that Congresswoman Mace and Massey are pushing?” Manriquez asked.
“I haven’t looked at the difference yet of what new thing it does,” Boebert answered. “Y’all probably got me missing my ride already. Anyway, I haven’t looked at the difference yet. So I am co-sponsoring a bill with Massey to ban Flock cameras, though.”
“To ban Flock cameras?” Manriquez clarified.
“Yeah,” Boebert confirmed.
“Oh, wow, when is that going to be introduced?” Manriquez wondered.
“Well, we already have our Surveillance Accountability Act,” Boebert added.
“Right,” Manriquez agreed.
“There’s a new bill that he’ll be introducing that I’m co-sponsoring,” Boebert said.
“Got it. Thank you, Congresswoman,” Manriquez concluded.
