Rupert Friend & Stuart Martin Join Zack Snyder’s “Rebel Moon”

Rupert Friend (Anatomy of a Scandal, Homeland) and Stuart Martin (Army of Thieves, Miss Scarlet and the Duke) join the previously announced Sofia Boutella, Charlie Hunnam, Djimon Hounsou, Doona Bae, and Ray Fisher.

The film follows a peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy finds itself threatened by the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius, they dispatch a young woman with a mysterious past to seek out warriors from neighboring planets to help them take a stand.

Rebel Moon is the first feature to fall under the first look partnership between The Stone Quarry Productions, a production company founded by Zack and Deborah Snyder and their producing partner Wesley Coller, and Netflix.
