Sabrina Carpenter is swapping stockings for showstoppers this holiday season. Netflix has released the trailer for A Nonsense Christmas, the multi-hyphenated pop star’s first-ever holiday special, due to bow Friday, Dec. 6, at 9/8c.

This Christmas extravaganza, directed by Sam Wrench, sees Carpenter take to the stage alongside a star-studded lineup of musical and comedy guests. Appearing among the guests are pop sensation Chappell Roan, singer Tyla, the legendary country icon Shania Twain, and Grammy-winning artist Kali Uchis. But the surprises don’t stop there: celebrity cameos will come courtesy of Quinta Brunson, Cara Delevingne, Kyle Mooney, Nico Hiraga, Megan Stalter, Sean Astin, Owen Thiele, and Jillian Bell, promising a variety-packed evening of entertainment.

The special features songs from Carpenter’s 2023 holiday album Fruitcake, which fuses her signature pop sensibilities with holiday classics and iconic Christmas covers. Netflix promised fans that “show-stopping music performances, comedic guests, unexpected duets, plus many more surprises and fun cameos” could be expected.

The trailer dropped on the finale of Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet Tour. Fans in Los Angeles at the Kia Forum received a premiere of the trailer just before she took the stage, sending them into a frenzy.
