Sarah Drew is heating up our screens in the Jessica Biel produced Freeform Hit Cruel Summer. The physiological drama follows the story of a popular girl who goes missing and another girl who mysteriously takes over her life.

Drew, stars as Cindy Turner, the overarching mom to teen Jeanette Turner played by Chiara Aurelia. Sarah who was in high school in the ’90s loved the idea and had no problem jumping back into the nostalgia of that time.

Sarah says the message or lesson to be learned from CS is to be careful of the destructive nature of making snap judgments about people before being curious in finding out the validity of what is being said.

When asked about a possible season 2 of the hit series, Drew says she hasn’t heard anything but she agrees we need more.

Drew, who recently reprised her role as April Kepner on The ABC long-running medical drama Grey’s Anatomy, says she was welcomed with open arms by her friends and family when she returned.

In the May 6th episode, Jackson played by Jesse Williams asked April if she would move to Boston, and the answer was, a firm yes. Fans were left stunned and with even more questions.

When asked her hope for “Japril” as they embark on their new journey in Boston, Drew, says she hopes they find their way back to each other and take the medical world by storm.

We are rooting for you “Japril”!!!

Watch Drew in “Cruel Summer” Tuesdays on Freeform.
