SHADOW AND BONE Season 2 Debuts At #2 On The Netflix Charts With Over 50M Hours Watched

Viewers flocked to Korean titles. For the second week in a row, Season 1, Part 2 of the Korean drama The Glory, topped the Netflix Non-English TV List with 123.59M hours viewed, making it the most-watched title for the last two weeks.

The series also moved up the Most Popular List into the #7 spot with the release of Part 2, totaling 380.38M hours viewed in the first 28 days of each episode’s premiere.

Romantic comedy Crash Course in Romance and docuseries In the Name of God: A Holy Betrayal remained on the list with 14.36M hours viewed and 8.1M hours viewed, respectively.

Luther: The Fallen Sun stayed atop the English Films List with 69.54M hours viewed. An epic continuation of the award-winning television saga reimagined for film, the thriller captivated fans and was in the Top 10 in 93 countries. Since its debut, the film has had 62M views (135.46M hours viewed divided by 2.2 runtime hours).

Also returning to the list were the rom-com Faraway and the family horror, We Have a Ghost. New to the list was the animated film The Magician’s Elephant, inspired by Kate DiCamillo’s prize-winning novel, with 13.69M hours viewed. Docuseries Money Shot: The Pornhub Story also entered the list with 13.67M hours watched.     

You continued to keep audiences on the edge of their seats. Season 4 of the murder mystery held the #1 spot on the English TV List with 64.06M hours viewed.

Fans returned to the Grishaverse as Season 2 of “Shadow and Bone” debuted on the English TV List in the #2 spot with 50.4M hours viewed and appeared in the Top 10 in 85 countries.

Viewers also revisited Season 1, which had 24.07M hours viewed. Mainstays on the list included MH370: The Plane That Disappeared, Season 3 of Outer Banks, Sex/Life, Wednesday, and Perfect Match. Survival competition series Outlast entered the list in the #6 spot with 23.63M hours viewed. 

Following its four Oscar wins, the German film All Quiet on the Western Front climbed into the #2 spot on the Non-English Films List. Indian action-adventure RRR, which made history as the first Indian film recognized in a category outside of international feature, taking home the award for Best Original Song, re-entered the list in the #7 spot.

New entrants on the list included Italian romantic comedy Still Time, Belgian thriller Noise, French drama In His Shadow, and Mexican comedy Have a Nice Day! Spanish rom-com Love at First Kiss continued to pull at the heartstrings of viewers.

On the Non-English TV side, fans returned for their favorites, including Seasons 1 and 2 of the Spanish drama Wrong Side of the Tracks, Hindi-language thriller Rana Naidu and Mexican thriller Triptych. New titles on the list are the Spanish thriller Sky High, the series, and Greek drama Maestro in Blue.
