South Africa’s Lalela Mswane Becomes First Black Woman Crowned Miss Supranational

Miss South Africa, 24-year-old Lalela Mswane has become the first Black woman to win Miss Supranational. She beat contestants from 69 countries.

She also finished third at the 2021 Miss Universe and was the only African Beauty Queen in the Top 16 of the tournament in 2021.

Miss Supranational is one of the Top 3 most important and prestigious international pageants in the world. Approximately 80 countries participate in the contest.
