South Lenoir High School Interventionist Lindsay Gardner Charged With Indecent Liberties With A Student

An interventionist at South Lenoir High School was arrested and charged on Friday (June 2) with indecent liberties with a student and disseminating sexual content to someone under 16 years old, according to the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office.

Lindsay Gardner, 32, was arrested on Friday by the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office after obtaining a warrant for the above-mentioned charges. She was released from police custody after a secured bond was posted.

LCPS officials notified an LCSO resource officer supervisor on May 25 of an alleged incident involving a South Lenoir High School employee and a student.

The LCSO launched an investigation right away, which resulted in Gardner’s arrest. The North Carolina State Crime Lab assisted the LCSO with digital evidence processing.

Gardner no longer works for Lenoir County Public Schools.
