‘The Batman’ Earned $21.6 Million in Thursday Previews

‘The Batman’ earns the second-biggest domestic pre-show opening of the pandemic era with $21.6 million, just behind ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ ($50 million).

Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman’ is on pace to succeed over $100 million dollars opening weekend domestically. The film already made $5.3 million dollars internationally. It made roughly $1.7 million in Korea since Tuesday; ‘The Batman’ also made $2.1M in France, $414K in Sweden, $362K in Indonesia, and $193K in Belgium since Wednesday opening.

The initial budget of ‘The Batman’ was $100 million. It seems that with COVID restrictions, the budget increased to $200 million.
