On Netflix’s TV side, The Diplomat remained at the top of the English TV List for the second week in a row, with 66.46M hours viewed, ranking in the Top 10 in 84 countries.
The political drama has captivated audiences since its debut, garnering over 18M views (123.95M hours viewed divided by 6.76 runtime hours). Fans won’t have to wait long to find out what happens after the shocking cliffhanger: answers will get revealed in Season 2.
With 46.31M hours watched in season 2, the Colombian drama The Marked Heart maintained its top spot on the Non-English TV list. The Night Agent (37.68M hours viewed), Beef (24.48M hours viewed), Season 4 of Love Is Blind (12.08M hours viewed), The Glory (7.68M hours watched), and Welcome to Eden Seasons 1 (15.66M hours viewed) and 2 (37.54M hours viewed) all demonstrated exceptional endurance as they returned to Netflix’s weekly Top 10 lists.
New TV entries include the final seven episodes of Season 2 of Firefly Lane, which received 43.49 million hours of viewing; the seventh and the final season of Workin’ Moms, which received 18.19 million hours of viewing and Season 3 of Indian Matchmaking, which received 11.41 million hours of viewing. Sweet Tooth, a critically acclaimed and Emmy Award-winning series, is ranked second on our English TV list in Season 2 with 48.34 million hours viewed (Season 1 re-entered the list).
A Tourist’s Guide to Love, which ranked first on the English Films List with 20.92M hours of viewing, transported viewers to Vietnam. The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die (8.34 million hours watched), Murder Mystery 2 (6.15 million hours viewed), and Chupa (4.3 million hours viewed) all made a comeback on the list.
With 32.53 million hours of viewing, AKA, a French action-adventure film, debuted at the top of the Non-English Films List. Another entry on the list is the Polish romantic comedy Kiss, Kiss!, which has received 6.57 million viewing hours. Thai suspense thriller Hunger, Turkish suspense thriller Chokehold, Swedish romantic comedy One More Time, Mexican comedy Queens on the Run, Spanish suspense thriller Phenomena, and Korean action-adventure Kill Boksoon were among the returning favorites.
