This exclusive trailer features the show’s beloved characters battling the deadly threat of the growing darkness, as well as a sneak peek at the introduction of fan favorite book characters like Elayne Trakand, Aviendha, and Lady Suroth. There are also action-packed battles and Easter eggs scattered throughout the trailer, which contains over two minutes of previously unseen footage.

The series stars Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl, I Care a Lot) as Moiraine Damodred, Daniel Henney (Criminal Minds) as Lan Mandragoran, Josha Stradowski (Gran Turismo) as Rand al’Thor, Zoë Robins (Power Rangers Ninja Steel) as Nynaeve al’Meara, Madeleine Madden (Dora and the Lost City of Gold) as Egwene al’Vere, Marcus Rutherford (Obey) as Perrin Aybara, Dónal Finn (Rogue Heroes) as Mat Cauthon, and Ceara Coveney (Young Wallander) as Elayne Trakand.
Since the beginning of this week, a digital “Stitch in Time” campaign has been sharing multiple pieces of unique GIFs from the trailer to core members of the show’s online community, allowing these eagle-eyed viewers to work together to create clues about some of the scenes shown in the trailer.
In order to inform and pique fans’ interest about today’s 6am PT reveal, some screenshots from the trailer were also shared on Monday and Tuesday of this week via significant editorial placements.
