A TikTok creator is going viral after explaining why she called off a date over her would-be suitor’s restaurant pick.
Savannah Pagnozzi posted a video titled “NYC Men I will not date,” in which she detailed her decision to cancel a planned date the previous night.
“I was supposed to go on a date last night, and I canceled it,” Pagnozzi said in the video. “And here’s why. He picked a lame restaurant.”
Pagnozzi said the restaurant a person chooses reveals a great deal about their character.
“The restaurant you pick says a lot about you,” she said. “And I take my restaurant game very seriously. And so if we’re not compatible on the restaurant you choose, we’re not gonna be compatible on a lot of other things.”
She laid out her standards for a first date, saying she expects a restaurant with at least three dollar signs, “preferably four,” and white tablecloth service. Pagnozzi also said a date should offer to send a car to pick her up.
“Okay. Thank you,” she said, closing out the video.
