Travis Bryant Defends Former Breakthrough Co-Star Chrissy Metz from Body Shaming Twitter Troll

Last Sunday night was the Academy Awards and as the biggest night in Hollywood, it isn’t without a good ole’ online fued. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend made headlines for stepping in to defend Parasite director Bong Joon-Ho after he was trolled over his historic Oscar win, however they weren’t the only ones to engage a Twitter troll.

SiriusXM host Andrew Wilkow took to Twitter to comment “un-healthy” likely in reference to the article also posted in the same tweet about Chrissy Metz’ Oscars red carpet look. Wilkow followed his thread with a Daily Mail article of Lizzo.

The 22-year-old American Soul actor defended his former co-star, firing back at Wilkow’s body shaming comments with the popular 2017 Mocking Spongebob meme.

Bryant exclusively revealed to Where Is The Buzz, “As the older sibling being a bystander to bullying has never been an option for me. My brother got picked on a lot as a kid and I always was the one that’d get in fights to defend him” the Sofia the First star continued “so when I see cyberbullies online thinking they can hide behind a keyboard that bothers me and I feel compelled to say something”
