Disney+ announced today that three-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Victoria Monét has crafted an original end-credit song, “Power of Two,” for the highly-anticipated Lucasfilm Star Wars series “The Acolyte.”

Monét joins forces with a powerhouse team to bring “Power of Two” to life. Oscar-winning (“Judas and the Black Messiah”) and Grammy Award-winning producer D’Mile lends his talents alongside award-winning composer Michael Abels (“Get Out” and “Us”). Fans can expect “Power of Two” to drop on all streaming platforms starting June 14th.

“It’s such an honor to have my song become part of the legendary Star Wars universe through The Acolyte,” Monét said in a statement. “I’m so excited for everyone to hear it and how it connects to the overall story! D’Mile and I had a blast creating this song, and we hope the world loves it as much as we do.”

A Thrilling Mystery Unfolds

“The Acolyte,” now streaming on Disney+, follows a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) as he tackles a shocking crime spree. This investigation takes an unexpected turn when he comes face-to-face with a dangerous warrior from his past, played by Amandla Stenberg. As the duo delve deeper into the unfolding mystery, they uncover a web of dark forces at play, shattering their perceptions and forcing them to question everything they thought they knew.

Stellar Cast and Creative Vision

The series features a star-studded cast, including Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Charlie Barnett, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Dean-Charles Chapman, Joonas Suotamo, and the legendary Carrie-Anne Moss.

Leslye Headland, drawing inspiration from the Star Wars universe created by George Lucas, is the mastermind behind “The Acolyte.” Headland serves as an executive producer alongside industry veterans Kathleen Kennedy, Simon Emanuel, Jeff F. King, and Jason Micallef. Charmaine DeGraté and Kor Adana join the team as co-executive producers, with Rayne Roberts, Damian Anderson, Eileen Shim, and Rob Bredow rounding out the production team.
