Kelela has embarked on a relentless wave of creativity since the beginning of the new year, leaving fans eagerly anticipating her upcoming RAVE:N, The Remixes album set to release on February 9th. The artist is keeping the excitement alive by treating her audience to weekly visuals and tracks, building the momentum for what promises to be an electrifying release.

In her latest move, Kelela dropped the remix of the Raven b-side “Holier,” featuring the talents of London-based producer JD. REID and underground sweetheart Shygirl. This collaboration, a fusion of eclectic sounds, has captivated fans, shaking them to the core with its whimsical charm. The dream duo’s synergy hints at the innovative direction of the RAVE:N Remixes album, setting the stage for a genre-defying experience.

This dynamic pairing not only resonates with subculture genres but also tantalizes the curiosity of the mainstream audience. Kelela, along with other Black and Brown women, is making a significant mark in this new age sound, challenging conventional norms and pushing the boundaries of creativity.

The journey towards the RAVE:N Remixes album began at the end of last year with the debut track “CONTACT (KAREN NYAME KG REMIX).” Since then, Kelela has shared the full tracklist and dropped two singles, “Closure (Flexulant x BAMBII Remix feat. Rahrah Gabor + Brazy)” and “Happy Ending (A.G Remix).” Accompanying each single is a visual vignette that encapsulates the essence of Kelela’s RAVE:N era, providing fans with a multisensory experience.
