Warner Bros. Games and DC have unveiled an exciting development for gaming enthusiasts as they announce the release of the iconic Batman: Arkham Trilogy on Nintendo Switch™. This compilation, featuring the acclaimed titles Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, and Batman: Arkham Knight, is a comprehensive package that includes all previously released downloadable content (DLC) from the three games. Developed for Nintendo Switch™ by Turn Me Up Games, this marks the first-time availability of the trilogy on the popular gaming platform.
One notable addition to the Batman: Arkham Trilogy on Nintendo Switch™ is a brand-new Batman character skin, drawing inspiration from the suit featured in Warner Bros. Pictures’ 2022 blockbuster film, The Batman. The new skin is currently exclusively accessible in Batman: Arkham Knight on Nintendo Switch™ and is set to launch in Batman: Arkham Knight on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC starting December 15.
Kicking off the trilogy is Batman: Arkham Asylum, the inaugural release in 2009 from Rocksteady Studios. This game serves as the foundation for the Arkham series, immersing players in a dark and atmospheric adventure within the infamous Arkham Asylum. The narrative unfolds with an original story as players, donning the cape and cowl, navigate the shadows to face iconic villains like The Joker, Harley Quinn, Bane, and more.
Following this is the 2011 sequel, Batman: Arkham City, an expansive open-world adventure that elevates the intensity of its predecessor. Players find themselves soaring through Arkham City, a high-security facility housing Gotham City’s most dangerous criminals. The game features an extensive Rogues Gallery, including Catwoman, The Riddler, Two-Face, and Mr. Freeze, offering players a genuine experience of becoming The Dark Knight.
The trilogy reaches its thrilling conclusion with Batman: Arkham Knight, released in 2015. This finale in Rocksteady Studios’ multi-award-winning series raises the stakes as players face new adversaries like the Arkham Knight and Scarecrow. Gotham City’s fate hangs in the balance as players, alongside allies like Commissioner Gordon and Robin, confront a roster of notorious DC Super-Villains.
The addition of the Batmobile, fully drivable throughout the streets of Gotham City, enhances the overall Batman experience in this epic conclusion to the Arkhamverse story arc. With all three titles now available on Nintendo Switch™, fans can immerse themselves in the complete Batman: Arkham Trilogy experience on the go.
