Jeannie Mai Alleges Jeezy’s Infidelity in Divorce Filing, Seeks Financial Penalty per Prenup

TV host Jeannie Mai has responded to her estranged husband Jeezy’s September divorce filing, suggesting that the rapper was unfaithful during their marriage.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Mai implied infidelity by asking her lawyer to enforce a paragraph in their prenup specifically addressing extramarital relationships.

The court documents state that engaging in sexual or emotional relations, or suggestive communication with a third party via electronic means, will result in a significant financial penalty upon the party being found guilty of adultery.

While Jeannie did not name the alleged person involved in the infidelity, the prenup promises substantial monetary consequences for the guilty party if proven. Jeezy, whose real name is Jay Wayne Jenkins, has not yet responded to the filing.

Earlier this month, Jeezy released a new single titled “Don’t Cheat,” where he seemed to hint at being betrayed in a past relationship. He rapped, “Real n–gas don’t cheat,” suggesting his loyalty.

Jeezy filed for divorce from Jeannie in September, citing that their marriage was irretrievably broken with no hope for reconciliation. He also requested joint legal custody of their daughter, Monaco.

Rumors circulated that Jeannie was having an affair with Mario Lopez after cohosting his show in August. However, those close to Jeannie denied the rumors, emphasizing there was “no truth” to the speculation.

Jeezy addressed the split on October 19th, stating that the decision was not made impulsively and expressing continued love and respect for Jeannie despite the separation.
