White Woman Says Posting a Bikini Photo Is Cheating by the Same Rule: “She’s Doing It To Cheat”

One of the most popular TikTok videos discusses how many couples don’t treat their social media relationships equally, sparking a controversy that has been ongoing for years over whether certain behaviors are acceptable in a romantic partnership.

The video’s author, Blair Bishop, describes a fictitious quarrel between a couple, where he plays both sides and offers possible objections and corresponding answers. First, he describes the actual accusation.

“A girl will look you dead in the face and say, if you like another girl’s bikini picture, that’s cheating. And then she’ll turn right around, and she’ll post a bikini picture. And then when you ask her, well, is that not cheating? She’s gonna say no, because she’s just posting it for her friends,” Bishop said.

Then, moving away from the description to answering the objection, he gives two possible excuses and explains why they both are wrong to accept separately.

“And it’s important that you tell her that she could just send it to her friends. Of course, her response to this will then be, well, really, I’m just posting it for myself. And it’s important that you then say, well, it’s already on your phone. It’s already there for yourself,” he said.

Having refuted both excuses, Bishop returns to the main question and gives his opinion on why it should be accepted the same way for both sides of the relationship.

“And then you need to ask yourself, why really is she posting this? Because if she truly, in her brain, believes that you liking another girl’s bikini picture is cheating, then it only makes sense that if she’s posting a bikini picture, she’s doing it to cheat,” Bishop said.

After that, he answers his question with what he considers the real motive behind it and warns his audience that this will not be admitted.

“Because if she was posting it for her friends, she would just send it to them. If it was really for herself, she’d just go look at it. She’s posting it for other male validation. Unfortunately for you, she will never admit to that. But at least now you have the knowledge going forward,” he said.

Bishop ends his video by reminding viewers that the confusion they may feel is the main point, and he finishes with a warning.

“And if it seems like her logic makes no sense at all, that’s because it doesn’t. She just wants a pass to yell at you. Remember that scammer scam? Do not get scammed,” Bishop said.
