Duke University told The New York Post that Angel Murdock neither applied to nor attended its Physician Assistant Program.
The university came forward after allegations that Murdock used her status as a graduate of the school as an essential part of her online persona. She posted graduation photos of herself in a cap and gown and mentioned the hard work, dedication, sacrifices, and prayers that helped her earn her degree.
Graduates of the Duke PA class of 2026 became suspicious of her story after noticing her graduation attire was the wrong color.
Moreover, Murdock, who has 300,000+ followers on social media, has been accused of falsely claiming to be a real estate licensed agent in both Georgia and North Carolina when she is not. She posted listings, house-tour videos, fake clients, and the income she claimed to earn from selling houses. Neither state has any record of her in its licensing database, and the real estate agency she claimed to work for has stated it has never hired her.
Murdock hasn’t responded to Duke’s confirmation.
