Gi Gi Hunter, renowned crochet artist blasts Ari Fletcher for wearing a knockoff to the BET awards after requesting and keeping a custom piece without promotion.
Hunter took to Instagram to share screenshots of her alleged text message exchange with Ari Fletcher. Fletcher replied on her Instagram story claiming that message happened over a year ago. Resorting to calling a piece she asked for “ugly” while replying to Gigi Hunter. She also told Gi Gi she needs to work on her craft.
Hunter has done customs for Beyonce, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Jennifer Lopez, Pamela Anderson, Jasmine Guy, Zendaya, and many others. Her impact is widely recognized and unfortunately often duplicated.
