The Masked Singer US has announced that a judge from the UK show will be replacing Nicole Scherzinger.
After signing up for a West End production of Sunset Boulevard, the singer from The Pussycat Dolls will not be present for the 11th season of the show, and the panel has now revealed the temporary replacement.
Rita Ora will be joining Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, and Robin Thicke on the panel for the upcoming season, as announced on the show’s social media channels.
The singer’s previous experience as a judge on The Masked Singer UK will ensure a seamless transition.
“We’re grateful to have the amazing @ritaora shine her light and join us as a panelist on The Masked Singer season 11!” wrote Fox in the caption to their Instagram post, accompanying a photo of Ora in a glittery outfit.
The tenth season, which will feature costumes like Donut, Anteater, Hawk, Hibiscus, and S’More, will debut later this month (on September 27), before Ora makes her US television debut the following year.
