A tunnel picture of Saylor Poffenbarger, the Chicago Sky rookie, has been making waves online, with plenty of people chiming in on the rookie’s off-court fashion choices.

The 6-foot-2 shooting guard’s arrival at the WNBA arena was caught on camera, and a photo showing her in a pink crop top and mini-skirt, along with accessories, quickly surfaced alongside another photo that gushed over WNBA players’ tunnel fashion. Naturally, the post sparked plenty of opinions in the comments section.

Not all reactions were positive. Some users took her role on the court into consideration in their responses. “I’ll definitely be tuning in to more Chicago Sky games to watch good basketball and to watch Saylor get 5 minutes of court time,” wrote one.

Several users also admitted they didn’t know much about her on-court performance. “I hadn’t been familiar with her game before this picture,” wrote another.

However, many responses were criticized for shifting the discussion away from the game itself and into unsolicited comments about her appearance. One user wrote, “Well, sh-t, if the WNBA doesn’t work out, I’m sure she’ll find a high-quality man,” drawing attention to the ongoing gender disparity affecting women athletes.

Another user’s comment, “I’d fold with a quickness,” also drew attention to her looks.

Poffenbarger was born April 14, 2003, to parents who are former college athletes, and played collegiately at the University of Maryland before signing a hardship contract with Chicago after going undrafted in the 2026 WNBA Draft.
