During the Disney and Pixar premiere of “Toy Story 5,” Taylor Swift performed “I Knew It, I Knew You,” the film’s original song, along with her longtime collaborator and composer Randy Newman, for the film’s iconic “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.”
Among those who walked the blue carpet for the premiere of the animated sequel were the voice cast and creative team,m including Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Conan O’Brien, Greta Lee, Craig Robinson, and Tony Hal,e along with director Andrew Stanton, co-director Kenna Harris, producer Lindsey Collin,s and Newman.

Additional voice cast and guests who attended were Scarlett Spears, Shelby Rabara, Mykal-Michelle Harris, Lori Alan, Jay Hernandez, Bonnie Hunt, Kristen Schaal, Wallace Shawn, Krys Marshall, Jeff Bergman, Blake Clark, Anna Vocino, Matty Matheson, John Ratzenberger, and Melissa Villaseor. The film’s executive producers, Pete Docter and Jonas Rivera, were also in attendance, ance and Docter serves as Pixar’s chief creative officer.
In “Toy Story 5,” Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and the rest of the toys face the arrival of Lilypad, voiced by Greta Lee, who, as a tablet device, brings new challenges and calls their place in Bonnie’s life into question.
Swift wrote and produced “I Knew It, I Knew You” with collaborator Jack Antonoff, and two-time Academy Award winner Newman returns to the franchise, having scored all four previous films.
“Toy Story 5” is directed by Academy Award winner Stanton, from a story by Stanton and written by Stanton and Harris. Lindsey Collins produced the film, which is rated PG and will be released only in theaters on June 19, 2026.
