Woman Argues Lindsay Clancy Case Is the Exception, Not the Rule: “It’s Always the Husband”

The TikTok video posted on the @mayorhaley account claims that most crimes are committed by men; therefore, the case of Lindsay Clancy is the exception, not the rule.

The video went viral after a second social media user shared it with a sarcastic comment stating that it is the video’s attempt to rationalize female violence and added the hashtag #RepealThe19th, which relates to the 19th Amendment that grants women voting rights.

The video’s creator addresses a particular statement she keeps hearing when discussing the Lindsay Clancy case.

“Whatever you think about the Lindsay Clancy case, the one phrase that I need to stop hearing in regard to Lindsay Clancy is ‘if the rules were reversed,'” the creator said. “I’m sorry, what do you mean, ‘if’? ” I can assure you those rules are reversed.”

Next, the creator provides some stats on violent crimes committed by men.

“I don’t know if you’ve heard, but men commit like 90% of violent crime. And they’re also 90% of family annihilators,” she said. “When a woman or a child goes missing, law enforcement practically breaks their neck looking at the husband because it’s always the husband.”

She then states that the attention paid to this case speaks for itself.

“Lindsay Clancy harming her children is the role reversal. That’s Lindsay Clancy in her masculine,” she said. “It’s actually so rare for a woman to k*** her family that people on the internet are tying themselves in knots trying to figure out if Lindsay Clancy was clinically insane when she did this or whether it was just the husband the whole time. That’s how abnormal the behavior is for women.”

“People are in disbelief,” she adds. “In comparison to when a man does it and it’s just a Tuesday.”

Finally, the creator accuses men of using this case for political goals.

“But of course, men online are using this case as an excuse to advocate for taking women’s rights away,” the creator said. “Cause men love when women finally display the kind of violence that we’re so used to seeing in men. Men love to take one rare case of female violence and use it to justify hundreds of years of male violence and female oppression.”

“Don’t let men try to convince you that they’re upset about the Lindsay Clancy case,” she said. “They are absolutely kicking their feet with joy to have one example of a woman who might be as violent as men are every single day.”
