Yuniesky Ramirez-Martinez Arrested and Charged After Being Accused of Filming Sexual Acts Between Two Students In A Classroom, Tried To Blackmail One Of Them Into Having Sex With Him

A 37-year-old Doral Doral Charter Upper School athletic coach got accused of filming two teen students engaging in sexual acts in a classroom.

Yuniesky Ramirez-Martinez got arrested Monday on charges that include promoting the sexual development of a child and offenses against students by an authority, among others.

The athletic coach reportedly approached two students about taking them to a private place in the school to perform sexual acts. He took them to the school’s TV production room, but one of the students noticed a camera in the room, which led to Ramirez-Martinez providing them with another room.

The teens started to engage in sexual activity while Yuniesky Ramirez-Martinez waited for them to finish in another room next door.

Security footage showed the 37-year-old athletic coach videotaping the students while watching them from the other room. A few minutes later, he approached one of the students to give them a thumbs-up and a fist bump.

Ramirez-Martinez reportedly approached one of the students the next day and asked her to perform oral sex on him, according to CBS Miami. He told her she needed to be with someone with more experience. When the female student let him know that she was underage, he said, he knew and liked minors like her, the arrest warrant revealed.

After Ramirez-Martinez kept getting denied by the female student after many failed attempts, he threatened to tell the other student that they were having sex if she didn’t have sex with him. She reported the incidents to the school on February 17th, and the administrator called the Doral police.

The charter school released a statement that said, “Mr. Ramirez was immediately terminated as an employee with Downtown Doral Charter Upper School and has NOT been on school grounds since the initial report. DDCUS continues to cooperate with all law enforcement authorities and cannot comment further on the investigation.”

He got booked into jail and remained held on a $40,000 bond Tuesday, records showed. Attorney information wasn’t available.

Ramirez-Martinez was a security guard and athletic coach at Downtown Doral Charter Upper School.
