A Florida teacher got arrested and charged for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a minor.
On February 21st, Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call referencing a concern regarding a 26-year-old teacher named Paige Leduc. The police got informed about Leduc’s alleged relationship with a minor.
After police investigated Leduc, they learned she met the minor at an Okeechobee County School. They formed a romantic relationship, which eventually led them to be sexually involved with each other.
Paige Leduc got arrested on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, and transported to the Okeechobee County Jail, where she got charged with a violation of Florida State Statute 794.05, Unlawful sexual activity with certain minors.
According to Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office press release, there is no information indicating that the sexual occurrences took place on school property.
