The suspect who was shot outside the flower shop has been revealed by officials to be 23-year-old Rubí Delaine Jiménez.
The suspect, Jiménez, was seated on a bench adjacent to the store in the northern state of Sinaloa when armed gunmen approached, fired shots, and fled from the scene. Medical professionals reached the scene but declared her dead at the spot.
Reports suggest that the victim resided in the Alameda district of Culiacán and worked in a local salon.
A murder investigation case has been opened by prosecutors who seek to establish the motive for the shooting.
