André 3000, the acclaimed artist known for his multifaceted contributions to the music industry, has announced a series of intimate live shows to promote his groundbreaking instrumental album, “New Blue Sun.” The album, co-produced with Carlos Niño, was released on Epic Records in November and features a talented lineup of musicians such as Nate Mercereau, Surya Botofasina, Deantoni Parks, Diego Gaeta, Matthewdavid, V.C.R, Jesse Peterson, and Mia Doi Todd.
André’s musical prowess is demonstrated by “New Blue Sun,” which features a one-of-a-kind blend of celebration and improvisation in the form of a living, breathing, entirely instrumental organism. The tour will begin on January 29 in Brooklyn, New York, with a three-night residency at Manhattan’s iconic Blue Note Jazz Club. André and his band will perform two shows per night during this special engagement.
The musical journey continues with stops in Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta, and San Francisco, culminating in a five-night run at The Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever in Los Angeles.
