One of Brazil’s most prominent artists, Anitta, launched her ninth studio album named EQUILIBRIVM II, which is the continuation of the project released by the artist back in April 2026.
The second installment of the project features the development of reflections on love, spirituality, and ancestry mentioned in the first part of the EQUILIBRIVM and numerous collaborations with some of the country’s brightest stars like Maria Bethânia, Alceu Valença, Mart’nália, MC Tha, Alexandre Carlo, Mestrinho, King Saints, Los Brasileros, Katú Mirim, Letícia Fialho, Brô MC’s, Kbrum, and Grupo Ofá.
“I gave myself completely to this album. Anyone who listens to it will feel that,” Anitta said. “These songs reflect so much of my spirituality, my way of seeing the world, the expressions of Brazilian culture that inspire me, and they also carry autobiographical nuances.”
Like the previous part of the EQUILIBRUM, the album honors the country’s rich cultural heritage. With the elements of bossa nova, samba, reggae, funk, and forró, the album goes on a musical trip through the themes of faith, gratitude, ancestral wisdom, connection with nature, the body as a place of expression and healing, as well as vulnerability and self-discovery that make each track a part of the bigger story.
“Every decision, both musical and visual, has a purpose,” the singer said. “I’m very proud of what we’re delivering.”
EQUILIBRIVM II has its own musical video, which allows going beyond the boundaries of the album to create an immersive audiovisual project. The video, produced by Ginga Pictures and creatively directed by Nídia Aranha, continues the story begun in the first installment of the project through the prism of spirituality, Brazilian folklore, and the artistry of Anitta herself.
With EQUILIBRIVM II, Anitta starts a new phase in her work, when music, Brazilian culture, and audiovisual storytelling merge into one of the most personal projects of her career.
