Anitta Releases “Funk Rave” Music Video

ANITTA, the Brazilian pop sensation, has released a new single called “Funk Rave.” It’s her first release under his new Republic Records contract.

The Brazilian superstar expressed her feelings about the creation of her new single Funk Rave.

“All the music I’ve been making for the last year is music I’m very proud of. It’s both incredibly Brazilian and intentionally international: I made sure it resonated with me in every fiber of the song. Brazilian funk is my roots. It’s what I was born and grew up doing. It’s my home. I made this new music with the intention of showing the whole world those roots, what’s most important to me, and starting with ‘Funk Rave’ does exactly that.”

The theme depicts the legendary artist reconnecting with her roots. This time, she leans toward Brazilian funk, modernizing a classic style for a new generation. From the start, she quips, “Look what you can’t have, you boss bitch,” before delivering a dance-floor-beat chorus.

ANITTA performed “Funk Rave” at the opening ceremony of the UEFA Champions League Final earlier this month in Istanbul, Turkey. Her performance sparked a frenzy among fans, who yearned for the song’s official release. The singer has responded to the lawsuit with a song that is quickly becoming a global anthem.

ANITTA attended the Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2024 Men’s Fashion Show earlier this week. She was nominated for “Best New Artist” at the 2023 Grammys earlier this year.

This was the culmination of a series of historic events, including her Guinness World Records® achievement as the “First Solo Latina Artist to Reach #1 on Spotify Worldwide” and her 2022 win for Best Latin Song at the VMAs, EMAs, and AMAs.
