Apple TV+ has released the trailer for “The Crowded Room,” an upcoming limited series starring and executive produced by Tom Holland and created by Academy Award-winning writer and executive producer Akiva Goldsman.
Danny Sullivan (Holland), a man involved in a shooting in New York City in 1979, is followed after his arrest in “The Crowded Room.” Danny’s life story gets gradually revealed in this gripping thriller, which is told through a series of interviews with the inquisitive interrogator Rya Goodwin (Amanda Seyfried), revealing details of the enigmatic past that shaped him as well as the twists and turns that will eventually bring about a revelation that will change his life.
The series stars an ensemble cast led by Holland, including Amanda Seyfried, Emmy Rossum, Sasha Lane, Will Chase, and Lior Raz, as well as guest stars Jason Isaacs, Christopher Abbott, Thomas Sadoski, and Zachary Golinger.
Apple Studios and New Regency co-produced “The Crowded Room.” Through his Weed Road Productions label, Goldsman serves as executive producer.
Holland, Alexandra Milchan for EMJAG Productions; Arnon Milchan, Yariv Milchan, and Michael Schaefer of New Regency also serve as executive producers. Kornel Mundruczo, who also executive produces, directed several episodes, including the pilot.
The highly anticipated 10-episode series will make its global debut on Apple TV+ on Friday, June 9, 2023, with the first three episodes followed by one new episode weekly every Friday until July 28, 2023.
