Atlanta rapper OG Maco, who rose to prominence with his platinum-certified viral hit “U Guessed It” in 2014, has passed away following weeks of hospitalization. According to reports from TMZ, the rapper had been under medical care since December 12 after suffering a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Sources close to the situation indicate that Maco’s condition deteriorated while in a coma, eventually leading to critical condition from which medical staff were unable to revive him.
