Bebe Rexha unleashed her frustration with rapper G-Eazy in a fiery Instagram story that has since been deleted. The drama unfolded after G-Eazy’s team contacted Rexha about collaborating on social media content for their 2015 hit song “Me, Myself & I,” which recently gained renewed popularity.
Rexha’s response, captured in a screenshot of a group chat, was a scathing one. She directed her message to G-Eazy himself, calling him a “selfish fake ass loser” and questioning why his team, not him directly, reached out. She implied past mistreatment, suggesting she could “go in on all the shitty things you did” after the success of “Me, Myself & I,” which remains G-Eazy’s second-biggest hit. Rexha also declined the collaboration offer.
This outburst comes as a surprise to fans as Rexha previously maintained a cordial relationship with G-Eazy. In 2018, she defended him against rumors of a dispute following a performance with Britney Spears.
G-Eazy has yet to respond to Rexha’s accusations publicly. The music industry is rife with speculation about the artists’ perspectives and the reasons behind the feud.
Beyond “Me, Myself & I,” Rexha and G-Eazy collaborated on the song “F.F.F.” However, Rexha’s message suggests this will likely be their last project together. While the post itself is gone, Rexha’s words paint a picture of a significant and negative experience working with G-Eazy.
