Social media personality Breckie Hill said she would be open to joining a potential second season of the rebooted “Baywatch” series, responding to fans who have called for her casting since she posted a series of Baywatch-inspired beach photos, in an exclusive interview with Where Is The Buzz.
“I love that my fans are asking for me to be cast in the Baywatch show. My fans are the best,” Hill said. “Sure, I’d be interested in joining Baywatch.”
Hill said acting is something she has considered pursuing for some time, even though her career took a different path first.
“I’ve always thought about pursuing acting, my social media opportunities just happened first,” she said. “And we all know I’m comfortable wearing a swimsuit for millions of people and getting entangled in drama now and then.”
Asked which actor she would most want to work with, Hill pointed to “Euphoria” star Sydney Sweeney.
“As for my dream actor to work with, I’m gonna dream really big here. It’s Sydney Sweeney,” Hill said. “She’s obviously mega-talented, but I also love that she’s a risk taker who goes all in with complete confidence.”
Hill floated the idea of a crossover with Sweeney’s HBO series. “Imagine if Cassie finds out she has another little sister in the next season of Euphoria, wouldn’t that be great?” she said.
Hill also addressed a report from TMZ, which suggested on Instagram that her Baywatch-themed beach photo shoot was a subtle dig at fellow influencer Livvy Dunne, with whom Hill has had a public rivalry since 2023.
“My beach photo shoot was inspired by the Baywatch reboot and was not meant to shade Livvy,” Hill said.
She said she supports the casting of social media figures in the “Baywatch” reboot, including Dunne.
“I think it’s great that social media figures like Livvy, Brooks, and Noah were cast, and I’m excited to watch the show when it comes out,” Hill said.
When asked whether she and Dunne might eventually reconcile or collaborate, Hill did not rule it out.
“I’ll never say never to whether there could be a collab with Livvy,” she said. “Crazier things have happened.”
