Netflix is a Joke Fest, the comedy extravaganza produced by Netflix in collaboration with Live Nation, is making a triumphant return from May 2 to May 12, 2024. The festival boasts an impressive lineup featuring over 300 live stand-up shows, special events, table reads, sketch performances, and more, showcasing the world’s best comedians and artists. The comedic celebration will take place across more than 35 iconic Los Angeles venues, including the Hollywood Bowl, The Greek, The Dolby, The Forum, The Palladium, the Orpheum Theatre, and The Wiltern, among others.

This year’s edition, spanning 11 days, promises to be a laugh-out-loud spectacle, with Outside Joke serving as the hub of Netflix is a Joke Fest. This central space will feature late-night live stand-up, cast game shows, and engaging lawn games, providing fans with an immersive experience of the best moments in Netflix comedy and beyond.

Among the star-studded lineup are renowned comedians such as Ali Wong, Bill Burr, Chris Rock, Kevin Hart, Sarah Silverman, Seth Rogen, Trevor Noah, Wanda Sykes, and many more. The festival’s highlights include Hollywood Bowl nights featuring comedy legends like Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Gaffigan, Nate Bargatze, and Sebastian Maniscalco, along with special events like The Greatest Roast of All Time, featuring Tom Brady and hosted by Jeff Ross.

Tickets for the events across the festival are set to go on sale starting December 15th at www.NetflixIsAJokeFest.com.

Robbie Praw, Netflix VP of Stand-up and Comedy Formats, expressed excitement about the festival, stating, “This festival aims to capture this moment by bringing together the world’s best comedians for an unforgettable 11 days.” With over 60% of US Netflix members watching at least one stand-up title in 2022, the comedy genre continues to thrive, and Netflix’s commitment to the art form is evident in this colossal festival.

Netflix is a Joke Fest had a remarkable run in 2022, featuring 295 shows, and over 330 comedians, and selling more than 260,000 tickets. The festival has become a pivotal platform for stand-up comedy, with Netflix playing a significant role in the genre’s growth over the past decade. As Netflix prepares for its 2024 edition, the festival promises to deliver laughter, entertainment, and unforgettable moments for comedy enthusiasts worldwide.
