Bryant High School Teacher Heather Hare Arrested 2nd Time For Sexual Misconduct With Student

Heather Hare, a former Bryant High School teacher who was arrested in April, now faces a second set of sexual assault charges.

According to Bryant Police Department officials, the 33-year-old former high school teacher was arrested Tuesday morning after investigators received additional information about sexual misconduct with a student while she was a high school teacher.

Hare was first arrested in April following an investigation involving one of her students. According to the police, since that arrest, an additional student has come forward, prompting investigators to seek additional charges.

Bryant Public Schools officials said Hare was fired as a teacher after the district was made aware of the allegation in March.

Hare is being held without bond at the Saline County Detention Facility right now. She is being charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault.
