Camryn LaVine, sister of NBA guard Zach LaVine, said during a Twitch livestream that her iCloud and Snapchat accounts were hacked, leading to the spread of private videos involving her and another streamer known as Tbvnks.

She opened the stream playing music by Chief Keef, as Tbvnks had previously done on his own stream.

“What’s good with y’all, what’s good with everybody that’s in the chat,” she began. “Today I didn’t know if I was going to stream today, y’all. I was actually really hesitant if I was going to come on here and talk to y’all. Yesterday I know I posted that I was going to come on stream and stream today at six. Obviously pushed it back a little bit. I was debating if I really want to come out here and talk. I’m a little nervous to talk, I’m not gonna lie, about all this. This is a lot going on in my life.”

LaVine then addressed the hack directly.

“First I want to go ahead and get the elephant out in the room and address everything properly as it should,” she said. “Yes, I did get hacked. This is a very serious situation for not only my life but the other people that were affected and involved in this situation as well. It’s not okay to exploit people’s personal information and their private lives, for anybody, no matter who it is.”

She acknowledged the nature of some of the leaked videos while pushing back on how they were being characterized.

“I need y’all to understand that, whether or not that the people that are taking this seriously online or the people that aren’t taking it seriously online, we were trolling a lot and joking around in certain videos that were exploited, I will be completely honest,” she said. “But it’s not okay for y’all to try to change the narrative and the situation to something that it wasn’t, if you want me to be completely honest with y’all.”

LaVine apologized for the material spreading and said an effort is underway to find the person responsible.

“I understand that this stuff surfaced on the internet and it got everywhere, and I personally do apologize that this is happening,” she said. “We are trying to figure out who did this and who hacked into my iCloud and my Snapchat. It’s very upsetting that it happened, and hopefully for those that are watching or those that are up to date about the situation, y’all take action and be smarter, and moving forward something like this doesn’t happen to y’all.”

She explained why she chose to speak publicly.

“I just want to touch like a little short base on that, because that’s personally why I wanted to come on stream today and talk about that, because I feel like that’s what’s really important,” she said. “I have a lot of shit going on. But yes, I’m okay at the end of the day. Things happen. We’re all adults here, so at the end of the day I did want to come on here and speak. This is my platform. I do have my own Twitch channel, so I feel like I needed to come over here and say something.”

LaVine closed the stream by thanking her viewers.

“I hope all y’all have a great night,” she said. “I’m gonna catch y’all.”
