Jahzir is a bright, talented and somewhat shy young man with a passion for the Arts. Acting brings out the best of his personality and his creative talents. At the age of seven Jahzir enrolled in Dream Keepers Academy in Georgia where he studied acting. Jahzir made his way to the stage in “Dreamland” and “A Conversation With God” performing in major venues in the Atlanta Metro Area. Jahzir got his first speaking role in the Emmy Award-winning show “Atlanta” opposite Brian Tyree Henry and can be seen in two highly anticipated films. Robert Zemeckis’ reboot of the classic Roald Dahl book “The Witches” where he plays opposite Octavia Spencer, Anne Hathaway, Chris Rock, and Stanley Tucci. He can also be seen next in Netflix/Chris Columbus’ The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two, alongside Kurt Russell, Goldie Hawn, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Tyrese Gibson, and Julian Dennison.
We had the opportunity to interview Jahzir Bruno about the sequel of ‘Christmas Chronicles 2’ and working alongside some legends.
‘Christmas Chronicles 2′ synopsis:
It’s been two years since siblings Kate (Darby Camp) and Teddy Pierce (Judah Lewis) saved Christmas, and a lot has changed. Kate, now a cynical teenager, is reluctantly spending Christmas in Cancun with her mom’s new boyfriend (Tyrese Gibson) and his son Jack (Jahzir Bruno). Unwilling to accept this new version of her family, Kate decides to run away. But when a mysterious, magical troublemaker named Belsnickel threatens to destroy the North Pole and end Christmas for good, Kate and Jack are unexpectedly pulled into a new adventure with Santa Claus (Kurt Russell). Written and directed by Chris Columbus (Home Alone, Harry Potter) and co-starring Goldie Hawn, THE CHRISTMAS CHRONICLES: PART TWO is an action-packed adventure for the whole family that’s full of heart, humor, and holiday spirit.
