Diabate Hood: Punched Multiple Times In The Face After Being Pulled Over By Grand Rapids Police

Grand Rapids Police Department faces a lawsuit after an officer is caught on body cam punching a young black man in the face multiple times after being arrested.

25-year-old, Diabate Hood was pulled over at a traffic stop over the Operation: Safe Neighborhoods program in response to an uptick of violent crime in the area.

Hood, was charged with attempting to disarm a police officer, carrying a concealed weapon and resisting arrest.

The Grand Rapids police found four weapons in the vehicle.
