Dua Lipa has acquired the rights to her song collection through a deal with her previous publishers, TAP Music. Lipa will now own her masters, according to the company.

Anna Neville, co-president of TAP Music, expressed her best wishes for Dua’s future. She also highlighted the current exciting phase of their publishing company, which includes global expansion of services and teams, as well as the addition of more skilled writers and artists to their already impressive lineup.

Lipa is preparing to launch the promotion for her third studio album, which has yet to be announced. Lipa officially revealed information about her upcoming single titled ‘Houdini’ yesterday (November 1st).

Since deleting all of her Instagram posts and changing her profile picture last month, the singer has been teasing new music. Lipa hinted at the title of her new song the day before (October 31), and she went on Instagram to officially announce it. In the caption, she also included a mysterious chain emoji. The track is set to be released on November 9th, and you can pre-order it here.

According to an interview the singer gave last year, the upcoming album will be a complete departure. She stated that the album is distinct in terms of its sonic elements and has a stronger lyrical theme, despite being classified as pop. Although she did not reveal the title, she believes it will provide clarity, but we will have to wait to find out.

Barbie collaborator Mark Ronson hinted at Lipa’s album’s new direction in July. “I’ve heard some of it, and it’s incredible,” he said. He also suggested that Lipa’s act of smashing the disco ball in the ‘Dance The Night Away’ video was symbolic. He described it as her triumphant transition away from that era of her music and toward whatever she pursues next.

Lipa’s full-length album, ‘Future Nostalgia,’ was released in 2020 and became Lipa’s first UK number-one album. The album has been certified platinum in the United States, and it is the sixth most streamed album of all time on Spotify, with over 10 billion streams.

Lipa recently joined Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid, Angelina Jolie, and others in urging US President Joe Biden to request a cease-fire in Gaza.

The letter demands an end to the bombings in Gaza, the safe release of hostages, and the establishment of a secure route into Palestine to deliver desperately needed humanitarian aid. Several prominent figures in the entertainment industry have signed on to this letter.
