The images that reportedly leaked from Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday have been floating around the internet recently, appearing to feature Doctor Strange wearing metallic armor reminiscent of Doctor Doom from the movie.
In the yet-unconfirmed promotional images, the magician is wearing the metallic mask featuring a slot on the forehead resembling a third eye. Multiple other photos accompanying this image feature people wearing masks and dressed in Doom-inspired armor. Fans consider them a coven or the “witch army” serving the armored mastermind.
Some of the fans suggest that the masked people could be Clea, Loki variant(s), and/or Wanda Maximoff, but none of these suggestions are confirmed. One of the popular photos has been nicknamed “Boris,” and refers to the Marvel character name of one of Victor von Doom’s loyal aides.
The other leaked photos show groups of armored people alongside an image featuring Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch in an aggressive position with claws.
All of these photos fueled rumors that Doctor Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, might end up being on Doom’s side for at least some time during the movie.
