A social media content creator who earned more than $5.4 million on OnlyFans has been sentenced to one year in federal prison for filing a false tax return, U.S. Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe announced.

Kylie Perez, also known as “Natalie Monroe,” was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Thomas P. Barber. She also must serve one year of supervised release. Perez pleaded guilty on May 20, 2026.

According to court documents, Perez was a content creator who operated under the stage name “Natalie Monroe” on OnlyFans, a subscription-based social media platform. The platform allows creators to share content with subscribers, including photos, videos, and live streams. Creators can monetize that content through subscription fees, pay-per-view content and tips from subscribers.

From 2019 through 2023, Perez earned more than $5.4 million from her social media accounts, court documents said. Despite that, she engaged in a scheme to evade tax assessment by filing a false tax return for calendar year 2019 and failing to pay at least $1.5 million in taxes owed for calendar years 2020 through 2023.

“Evading the payment of owed income tax is a violation of our federal tax laws,” Kehoe said. “We will continue to prosecute those who purposely commit these crimes.”

Ron Loecker, special agent in charge of the IRS Criminal Investigation Florida Field Office, said the outcome was predictable.

“When someone chooses personal luxury over meeting their tax obligations, the consequences are inevitable,” Loecker said. “IRS CI Special Agents will continue to uncover the truth and safeguard the integrity of the tax system for all law-abiding taxpayers.”

The Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation investigated the case. Assistant U.S. Attorney Merrilyn E. Hoenemeyer prosecuted it.

On April 7th, the Department of Justice announced the creation of the National Fraud Enforcement Division. The Fraud Division’s core mission is to zealously investigate and prosecute those who steal or fraudulently misuse taxpayer dollars.

Department of Justice efforts to combat fraud support President Trump’s Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, a whole-of-government effort chaired by Vice President JD Vance to eliminate fraud, waste, and abuse within federal benefit programs.
