Former USA Gymnastics Coach John Geddert Committed Suicide After Being Charged With Human Trafficking and Sex Crimes, Officials Say

Former U.S. gymnastics coach, John Geddert, owner of Twistars USA Gymnastics in Michigan has committed suicide shortly after being hit with 24 crimes, including human trafficking. In fact, only one of the charges was connected to Larry Nassar, meaning there’s another entire horrible chapter of abuse here.

John Geddert had agreed to surrender at a sheriff’s office on Thursday before arraignment, but he never showed up, DA spokesperson says.
