“Furious” has been renewed for season 2, the thriller drama series that airs on Hulu. Hulu has renewed it for another season. Elizabeth Meriwether developed the series and also executive produces it, alongside Emmy Rossum, who stars in the show.
Viewers have been hooked since the beginning, and the show has grown in popularity each week. Interestingly, the seventh episode has been watched 40% more than the premiere.
“Furious” earned a Certified Fresh rating of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes when it aired and still holds 98%.
The drama series revolves around FBI agent Alice Black, who is played by Emmy Rossum, and tries to chase down a very smart and mysterious serial killer, played by Lola Petticrew.
The guest cast includes Jake Lacy, Rob Delaney, Hope Davis, Rob Yang, and Steve Way. Other ensemble members include Quincy Tyler Bernstine and Scoot McNairy.
Elizabeth Meriwether wrote, created, and executive produced the first season. Emmy Rossum has executive produced it for Composition 8. Other executive producers include Ronald Bass, Matt Olmstead, and Sam Hoffman. Brian Kirk directed and executive produced the first two episodes.
20th Television and Searchlight Television produced it. Season one aired on Hulu and Hulu with Disney+. The show streams outside the US on Disney+. The season one finale airs Monday, August 31.
