Joe Biden announced on Wednesday his decision to remove all American troops from Afghanistan by the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks this year. “War in Afghanistan was never meant to be a multigenerational undertaking. We were attacked. We went to war with clear goals. We achieved those objectives,” Biden said. The process will begin before May 1st.
