Seeing Justice For Junior trending brings back one of the most horrifying, heartbreaking, and senseless acts of violence I ever saw. It was like the whole community turned their backs on poor young Junior that night.
Five Trinitarios gang members were convicted of killing a teenager, “Junior” Guzman, who was mistaken for somebody else they were searching for in the Bronx. Two smiled after verdict and shouted their allegiance to the notorious gang.
For those who don’t know Junior was a 15 year old boy from the Bronx, who was brutally murdered in front of a bodega by five men on June 20, 2018. Today those five men were found guilty on all charges.
